Do you feel like going on an aquatic adventure? Then plan your travel on the sunny Gold Coast because the region features amazing; not to mention, splashtacular water parks. In fact, there are two famous water parks you need to visit. Each of these promises a unique and unforgettable fun starting with:

aquaSplash
Located at Marine Parade, Southport Broadwater Parklands, aquaSplash is Australia’s first open water park. Yes, it is open so get ready to explore and conquer their massive inflatable obstacle course. Just make sure you stretch those muscles first because you will need to walk on a balance beam, cross a bridge and a cliff plus climb an ice tower.

Worried about the little ones? You'd be happy to know that aquaSplash offers a safe environment suitable for all ages. While the big kids and adults conquer the inflatable obstacle course, the little kids can climb, jump, slide, spin, and swing in their own MiniSplash area. This zone is specifically designed for kids aged 1 to 9 but adult supervision is required.

Wet 'n' Wild
If you want to go big, head over to Wet 'n' Wild. This large water park is located in Oxenford and is owned and operated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks. The park features some of the biggest water slides in the country.

One of their extreme water slides include Blackhole. Prepare yourself as you slide into the fully encapsulated tube slides and enjoy the heart thumping twists and turns. Besides water slides, the park also offers two different experiences such as SkyCoaster.

This is definitely not for the faint of heart. You and two of your friends or family members will be strapped into a harness and raised 50 metres above ground. For you to get down, you need to have the courage to pull your own ripcord. Second is Wet'n'Wild BUGGY, Queensland's first driving adventure park. Take a ride around the purpose-built track which includes over 50 challenging water obstacles.

Are you ready to visit both water parks? First you need to make sure you book the right accommodation. Stay at Raffles Royale Holiday Apartments Surfers Paradise. Besides providing affordable Surfers Paradise accommodation, the holiday apartment is close to aquaSplash and Wet 'n' Wild.
